Ingredients:

4 soft crab shells, cleaned

235 ml buttermilk

3 eggs

240 g panko breadcrumb

30 g butter, melted

What you’ll need from the store cupboard:

2 tsps. seafood seasoning

1½ tsps. lemon zest, grated

 

Instructions:

Preheat the Air fryer to 190 ºC and grease an Air fryer basket.

Place the buttermilk in a shallow bowl and whisk the eggs in a second bowl.

Mix the breadcrumbs, seafood seasoning, and lemon zest in a third bowl.

Soak the crab shells into the buttermilk for about 10 minutes, then dip in the eggs.

Dredge in the breadcrumb mixture and arrange the crab shells into the Air fryer basket.

Air fry for about 10 minutes and dish out in a platter.

Drizzle melted butter over the crab shells and immediately serve.
